COLUMBUS – Columbus police have named a second suspect in a Labor Day shooting that killed one man and injured another.
Twenty-year-old Devin Thompson is still being sought on two counts of aggravated assault in connection with a shooting in Columbus on Labor Day. Thompson’s last known address was 1171 Tabernacle Road, police said.
Earlier this week, another suspect, 19-year-old Dominique Ivan Chambers was arrested and charged with the murder of 19-year-old Alexander Brown.
Brown was fatally wounded when gunshots erupted Monday afternoon, Sept. 3, at the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and 22nd Avenue N.
Authorities said a second man, Andre Williams, was also grazed by a bullet.
The Columbus Police Department is asking anyone with information as to Thompson’s whereabouts to contact them of Golden Triangle CrimeStoppers immediately.
