Kindergarten students from Lake Elementary School visited the garden of Rosemont Baptist Church and Pastor/Farmer Jimmy Edwards before school recessed for the summer.
The students helped Edwards plant okra, watermelon, and tomatoes.
Through its partnership with the church, Lake hopes to provide support for a community garden.
