The first weekend of November each year, Mistletoe Marketplace, Nov. 3-6, ushers in holiday shopping and in 2009, attracted approximately 35,000 visitors to the Capital City. This popular shopping extravaganza, organized by the Junior League of Jackson, generates an estimated economic impact of over $3.4 million dollars, according to the Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Mistletoe Marketplace is a shopper’s delight with a three-day holiday shopping at its best and hosts numerous regional vendors from across the nation. Special events, planned by the Junior League of Jackson, also take place Nov. 3 – 6 in conjunction with Christmas shopping galore. This popular holiday event also kicks off Jingle Bell Jackson, the special time of year when The City with Soul comes alive with holiday cheer.
