Linda Gale Reed pleads not guilty to embezzlement

Linda Gale Reed has pleaded not guilty to three counts of embezzlement.

Reed entered the plea during her arraignment in Copiah County Circuit Court in Hazlehurst before Judge Lamar Pickard. She was served with an indictment June 7 at the county jail.

A Hazlehurst man is going to prison for selling counterfeit purses and other goods out of his car, Attorney General Jim Hood said.

Christopher Williams, 25, of Hazlehurst, was sentenced by Judge Lamar Pickard in Copiah County Circuit Court on one felony count of vending goods bearing a counterfeit trademark or label. […]
