Texas preacher, Jackson gospel artist hookup for ‘powerful’ revival, July 28-30

JACKSON, Miss. – Pastor Jonathan Stringfellow, pastor of The Rock Church of Arlington, Texas, will lead a ‘powerful worship experience’ at Holy Temple Missionary Baptist Church during its annual Summer Revival, July 28-30 at 7 p.m. The West Jackson church is located at 5077 Cabaniss Circle off of Westhaven Blvd. near Hwy 80.

“Lord, We Need To Hear From You” is the theme of this “spirit-filled, soul-saving” event. The theme is based on the scripture, II Chronicle 7:14 – “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (NKJV).

Guest Psalmist is gospel artist Evangelist Sherry Tate who ministers in music with her talented singing each night. She is widely recognized for her popular gospel hit, “Lord, I Thank You,” recorded with the Anderson Sanctuary Choir of Jackson.

A Louisville, Miss. native, Pastor Stringfellow is known by many throughout the United States for his “highly spiritual, consciousness-raising, yoke-breaking” preaching.

“He is an outstanding and dedicated man of God,” said Rev. Audrey Lynne Hall, pastor of Holy Temple. “You will not want to miss this great revival. Tell a friend, tell a neighbor, and tell the unsaved to come. No one will be the same after this great move of God,” she said.
