Jackson Chamber hosts second annual RED, WHITE, & JACKSON July 2

The Jackson Chamber of Commerce will host its Second Annual Red, White, & Jackson on Thursday, July 2, in Downtown Jackson.

The event will begin with free food, beverages and live entertainment by Faze 4 from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Smith Park in Downtown Jackson.

Then from 6-9 p.m., the event will move to the Old Capitol Museum where the community will be treated to food and beverages, children’s activities, a patriotic dramatization by General Harold Cross, Faze 4, and for the first time in Downtown Jackson the community will enjoy Fireworks by Pyrotechnico.

The event is sponsored by Jackson Chamber of Commerce, Atmos Entergy, Downtown Partners, & ChamberPlus, AT&T and Parkway Properties and is done in an effort to promote Downtown Jackson as a more community friendly place to be.

The Old Capitol museum will be open from 5- 8p.m. and will feature children’s activities with a patriotic theme and will welcome visitors to tour the museum before the fireworks start. No food or drinks are allowed in the building.
