JACKSON, Miss. — Hundreds are expected to brave cold temperature as they flock to the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson tonight, Dec. 9, for the opening of one of the most popular ice shows in the nation — “Disney On Ice.”
“We’re excited about our show here in Jackson; ticket sales are looking good,” said Jared Sampson, manager of Event Marketing and Sales for the South Region of Feld Management. Feld Management is responsible for bring the show to Jackson. Sampson said the show has not been in the Jackson market for several years.
The show is expected to have fun and enchantment for all ages. “I went to the show when I was 12,” said Morgan Jackson of Jackson. “It was colorful and lively. I enjoyed it then, and I am looking forward to going this weekend with my friends,” said Jackson, who is now a ninth-grader at Jackson’s Murrah High School.
The show titled, “Princess Wishes” will run through Sunday, Dec. 12.
