“Get Inspired” by Celebrity Fit Club Trainer during Medical Mall’s Community Awards

JACKSON, Miss. – You’ve seen him on the hit TV show, Celebrity Fit Club on VH1, as the impassioned fitness instructor, whipping celebrities into shape for their own good. Now, the former U.S. Marine drill sergeant is the guest speaker at the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation’s 14th Annual Community Reinvestment Awards (CRA) on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010.

First Sergeant Walden will talk about how to extend your life by taking control of your fitness and to quit making excuses.

Every year, the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation (JMMF) recognizes and supports individuals and agencies that support the CRA mission of Sowing the Seeds for a Brighter Future by investing in the community in a way that uplifts, empowers, and inspires the lives of those who need it most – our children.

Jeff Good, co-owner/managing partner of Mangia Bene, Inc. Restaurant Management Group, will serve as Master of Ceremony and Auctioneer, during the 2010 CRA’s. This year’s honorees include: Dr. Wallace Conerly, Outstanding Individual; Bertha Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Outstanding Non-Profit; American Medical Response, Outstanding For-Profit; and Mississippi Development Authority, Outstanding Public/Governmental Agency.

The public is invited to join us for an evening of great food, fellowship, and fitness. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at the Center Stage of the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center. Festivities will begin with a ticketed reception at 6 p.m. followed by the banquet at 7 p.m.

Please call the Foundation office at 601-982-8467, ext. 12 for more information on CRA and to schedule interviews with Walden.
