Andrea Jones, of Cartridge World of Clinton, was a recent guest on the Terri Lynn Show, featuring the Top Ten Businesses in Metro Jackson.
Jones, a leader in the business community, is a champion in the recycling business through her successful business – Cartridge World of Clinton which was started in March of 2008.
She said that she started Cartridge World because it could help save the environment as well as save the consumers money.
Their slogan is “Going green saves you green.” Cartridge World, located at 117 HWY 80 East in Clinton, Miss., recycles popular ink and toner cartridges such as HP, Cannon, Epson, Dell, Lexmark, Brother, and Samsung.
“Customer Service is very important,” said Jones. In fact, she was awarded The Certificate of Excellence in Customer Service from the Cartridge World Master Franchise in March 2009. Her excellence is further demonstrated in the distinguished designation of the Clinton’s “Chamber of Ambassador Award” of March 2009.
Recently, on June 29, Cartridge World of Clinton sponsored the Grater Jackson Membership Luncheon where Jones gave a presentation before the chamber members and the Honorable Bennie G. Thompson, who was the guest speaker.
Cartridge World of Clinton reaches out to the community in many ways such as their outreach to the Sykes Park Senior Center where they donated water and snacks to senior citizens who seek shelter in the center from the sweltering heat during the summer months.
Being active in the community is of one of the keys to Cartridge World of Clinton’s success. Jones is an active member of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Junior Auxiliary of Byram, Jackson Greater Partnership Chamber, Rotary Club of South Hinds, Clinton Career Women’s Organization, and the Jackson Chamber Leads Group.
Jones is a Mississippi native. She is the proud daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Spiller of Brookhaven, Miss.. She is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Alcorn State University. She is married to the Davern Jones of Port Gibson, Miss. He is the son of the late Lewis Jones and Annie Jones. The Joneses are the proud parents of Ray, Victoria and Morgan.
