Victim identified in Jackson fatal fire
Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart has identified the victim in Saturday’s fatal house fire in Jackson, WLBT reported.
Grisham-Stewart said a preliminary investigation shows 58-year-old Oscar Scott died of smoke inhalation. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
A call came in about 4:15 p.m. Saturday at 1777 Southaven Circle. When crews arrived, flames could be seen shooting from the side of the home along with heavy smoke. […]
