UPDATE: Dillon Markel Seals has been captured in Grenada. Mongtomery County Sheriff Jerry “Bubba” Nix confirmed this evening that Seals was taken into custody by Grenada County deputies. Seals is being housed at the Carroll-Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility in Vaiden, and he has been charged with capital murder.

WINONA – Officials in Montgomery and Grenada Counties are looking for a 17-year-old from Winona suspected in the murder of a Grenada County man. The body of Roy Sanders was found this morning in rural Montgomery County, and authorities believe Dillon Markel Seals is involved.
Unconfirmed sources said Seals and Sanders’ daughter were in a relationship.
Once word of the murder was released and Seals was suspected to be in the area, schools in Grenada County were placed on lockdown, Grenada officials said. Students have since been released for the day.
