WIGGINS, Miss. (AP) — The mother of a 3-year-old boy who was found dead inside a hot vehicle has been arrested in the case.
WLOX-TV reports that Aleisha Marie Shaw was arrested in Stone County on Friday and charged with contributing to the neglect and death of a child.
It was not immediately clear if she had a lawyer.
Authorities say Cameron Shaw wandered off, ended up in a car and died on September 4 at a home near the Stone County and Forrest County line.
