JACKSON, Mississippi (AP) — Pearl River County officials say they’re still investigating a shootout over a $25 service charge that left a gun shop owner and his 17-year-old son dead.

Another man and his son were left injured after the shooting Saturday afternoon at the McLemore Gun Shop north of Picayune.

Owner Jacob McLemore, 44, and his son Jacob McLemore both died at the store after Jacob McLemore’s wife called him to the store because of the dispute. She witnessed the shootings and remained uninjured.

Shane Tucker, chief deputy with the Pearl River County Sheriff, tells The Associated Press that Audy McCool, 64, and Michael McCool, 29, remain hospitalized Monday. Tucker says deputies haven’t obtained a statement yet from either man. He wouldn’t say if the gun store had a video camera.
