Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove told WLOX News that the body of 47-year old Robert Conroy was spotted by a Biloxi policeman just before 3:30 a.m. on Monday, April 18, lying in the street on Bayview Avenue.

The officer investigated the scene and later found Conroy’s vehicle in the bay. Authorities said Conroy appeared to be heading west on Bayview Avenue when he failed to make the curve and was thrown from his vehicle before it crashed into the bay.
