Jackson, MS- The Jackson Medical Mall Foundation (JMMF) will hold a news
conference on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Center Stage of
the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center to announce plans for the
13th annual Community Reinvestment Awards (CRA) Program. CRA is the
Foundation’s premier community event. It represents a partnership among
networks working for the benefit of the less fortunate in the Jackson
Medical Mall District. CRA is November 5, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the
Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center. The Foundation will unveil
this year’s guest speaker, award recipients, and special agenda during
the news conference.
CRA 2009 program includes a full day of engaging activities to emphasize
the importance of reinvesting in your community in a way that uplifts,
empowers, and inspires the lives of those who need it most – our
children. The day will culminate with the Community Reinvestment Awards
Banquet, when the 2009 Grand Award Recipients are recognized and
rewarded for their exemplary service, benefiting countless Mississippi
children year-round.

The CRA news conference is a part of the Jackson Medical Mall Open
House, which will feature dozens of businesses, clinics, and
organizations inside and outside the Medical Mall. More than 300 people
are expected to attend the event, which will also include Medical Mall
tours, a newsletter launch party, FREE health screenings, and FREE food
samplings from District restaurants.
