JACKSON, Miss. – A shooting occurred Friday morning near Walmart on Highway 18. Jackson Police reported that a man is dead following the shooting in the store’s parking lot.
Media reports indicate that the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. near the Murphy gas station.
Witnesses said the shooting stemmed from an argument involving four individuals, resulting in the fatality.
Around noon, the victim’s name had not been released.
