From The Mississippi Link Newswire
JACKSON – The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) said beginning Monday, July 30 to Friday, Aug. 3, I-220 in Hinds County will be closed.
MDOT said the road closures will be on I-220 northbound at exits 2A and 2B and on Clinton Boulevard eastbound towards downtown Jackson as motorists pass under I-220.
These closures will allow crews to replace interstate signs and trusses along I-220.
The closures will be periodical and lasting no more than 30 minutes per session but varying in length due to the nature of the work.
MDOT asks that motorists avoid the area to keep from encountering significant delays in travel time.
