GULFPORT, Mississippi (AP) — A south Mississippi man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Harrison County Judge Lisa Dodson sentenced 48-year-old Michael Ishee of Saucier on Friday.
Ishee also must pay a $10,000 fine, plus $1,000 to the Mississippi Children’s Trust Fund and $300 to the Crime Victim Compensation Fund.
He was sentenced in Harrison County Circuit Court after entering a guilty plea to one count of child exploitation.
Ishee was arrested in July 2010 following an investigation by the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
