The Madison County Ministerial Alliance recently honored the late Rev. Lewis McDonald, Sr. for his dedicated leadership and pastoral service of more than 50 years.
A member of Ridley Hill Baptist Church of Madison, Miss., the late Rev. McDonald pastored several other Mississippi churches throughout his lifetime. They include: Simon Hill M. B. Church in Ridgeland, for 42 years; Bethel M. B. Church in Pickens for 19 years; Mt. Pisgah M. B. Church in Sandhill for seven years and Andrew Chapel Baptist Church in Flora, Miss. for seven years.
The late Rev. McDonald was chosen as the organization’s honoree prior to his death. His son, Johnnie Lee McDonald, accepted the award for his father.
