JACKSON, Miss. – Jackson State University extends its deepest sympathy to head football coach Rick Comegy and his family on the passing of his wife of 25 years, Connie Comegy.
Coach Comegy and Connie have five children (Mary, Connie,William, Rick Jr. and Billy Joe), 12 grandchildren and three great-grand children.
Connie passed away at approximately 2:15 p.m. on June 22 after a long bout with lung cancer. Memorial services will be held at Peoples Funeral Home in Jackson at noon on Thursday, June 25.
