JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson Police are investigating a local bank that was robbed today. JPD said a a man robbed a Jackson bank without getting out of his car Thursday.
Authorities said that around 1 p.m., the man pulled up to the drive-through at BancorpSouth at 1451 Canton Mart Road and sent the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and the man drove off with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. BancorpSouth is not making any comments at this time.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
