Hinds County Judge LaRita Cooper Stokes was hospitalized in Houston, TX last night due to an erratic heart beat.

She did not have a heart attack or a stroke. She will remain there in the hospital until her condition improves.
She and her husband, City Councilman Kenneth I. Stokes, were in Houston attending a conference.
