While we may all bleed different colors, we share a common bond-a degree from one of Mississippi’s eight public universities. I hope your university experiences enriched your lives as much as my experiences enriched mine.
Our universities play a crucial role in our state. For our state to thrive, our university system must be strong. In order for the university system to be strong, we must have support from the public and the state’s policymakers. The Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning has asked me to build a plan to raise the profile of the university system in Mississippi. To do this, I need your help and just a few minutes of your time.
We have created a brief survey -only 11 questions and additional space for comments – to help us understand how our alumni feel about the role universities play in our state and our lives.
Please take a few moments to complete the online survey at http://www.mississippi.edu/survey/. None of the questions ask which university is your alma mater and we will not be able to discern the information after you submit your response.
The survey will be available until 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29.
