Jackson Mayor Tony T. Yarber along with city and local officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. June 14, for the new Hanging Moss Road Bridge, one of the projects funded through the 1 Percent Sales Tax Program. The mayor also gave an update on other 1 Percent projects. Tougaloo President Beverly Wade Hogan and Frances Greer-Morris, president of the Woodlea Neighborhood Association were present to address the crowd during the ceremony.
