Bass, is a 5’9” white male with a medium build with receding blonde hair, blue eyes and weighs 180 pounds. Bass is serving a seven-year sentence for five burglary convictions from Lee County.
Bass also has multiple tattoos on both of his lower arms.

The Hinds County Republican Party and the county’s only white supervisor are suing four black county supervisors, charging race was used improperly as a factor in redrawing district voting lines.

Officials at the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) said an inmate remains at large after leaving the facility around 6 a.m. Sunday. Melvin Toney, 32, was last seen wearing MDOC state-issued green and white striped pants and a white MDOC shirt with “MDOC Convict” printed on the back.
Toney is a black male with brown eyes. He is 5’11, weighs 280 pounds and has a tattoo on his upper right arm that says “Alexis”. […]
