Many have learned that motocycle clubs are more than just social organizations. They serve each other and their communities.
“There is comraderie among us like no other group,” a rider once commented. “We are a family!”
That comraderie, sense of family and other qualities of these riders will be displayed this weekend as the Friends of Fallen Riders hold their Fifth-Year Anniversary and Memorial Ride.
The event kicks off Friday, June 5, at 7 p.m. with a Meet and Greet, and a Pool Tournament at Last Call Sports Bar on Interstate 55. On Saturday, June 6, bikers and possible spectators may meet at North Jackson Honda Parking Lot.
Kickstands are up at 12:30 p.m.
Bikers will then ride to Lake Hico on Watkins Drive for a Barbecue in the Park from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The After Party will be held at Soop’s The Ultimate from 9 p.m. until ….
Best Western on Beasley Road is the host hotel with a special rate of $59 per nights. Hotel acommodations can be made by calling (601) 956-8686.

Community Events
On behalf of Friends of Fallen Riders, we would like to invite you to participate in our 2nd year Anniversary and 5th year Memorial Day Rider in honor of deceased motorcycle riders and their families. The event will be held on Saturday, June 5th in Jackson Ms at Lake Hico Park from 1-4pm.
Friends of Fallen Riders (FOFR) is a nonprofit organization designed to honor those who have lost their lives due to motorcycle fatalities. Our mission is to provide support to loved ones that are left behind as charitable events, and supporting community service projects. FOFR supports various events for example: Memorial events, Food drives, and toy drives/participated in the Angel Tree program and motorcades to name a few.
Our event will include the following:
1. Pool Tournament at Last Call Sports Bar 3716 I-55 North Frontage Road 39211 June 5th at 7:00pm.
2. Annual ride in memory of Riders that have lost their life to motorcycle fatalities. Starting point North Jackson Honda located at 113 Briarwood Dr 39206 Jackson MS 39206. Kickstands up at 12:30pm June 6th.
3. Picnic and Tribute to Fallen Riders will be held at Lake Hico Park on Watkins Drive June 6th from 1-4pm.
4. Friends of Fallen Riders 2nd Anniversary Celebration will be held on June 6th at Soops the Ultimate 1205 Country Club Drive Jackson Ms 39209 at 9:00pm.
