Suspects still at large

Police are still looking for the two men that robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint and then drove off in his vehicle. On Dec. 11, around 10:15 p.m., a Pizza Hut driver was making a delivery at Building 13 of the Northside Apartments at 365 Northside Drive, when a man told him he didn’t have enough money to pay for the pizza.

The delivery driver then said a man walked from behind the building wearing a black ski mask, a white shirt and black pants. The robber allegedly put a gun to his head and demanded his car keys, cell phone and money.

The robber and the “customer” got into the delivery driver’s car and drove away. Police are currently looking for a blue Ford Crown Victoria, license plate number HSP 288.

Suspect shoots into residence

Clarksdale police are investigating a random shooting into an occupied dwelling last week. Captain Robbie Linley said on Dec. 15, around 9:53 p.m., an unknown suspect shot into a house in the 100 block of Douglas Street. No one was injured, but police are searching for the suspect.

Clarksdale pizza delivery driver robbed

Police said a pizza delivery man was robbed on Dec. 11, after three black males approached him and demanded money. The incident occurred around 10:10 p.m. in the 2300 block of Seventh St. The suspects took the victim’s money and fled the scene. There were no injuries and no one is in custody.

Father and stepson killed in accident near McComb

A 40-year old man and his stepson were killed when their pickup truck ran off the road and hit an oak tree. David James Winkler and his stepson, Brandon Thomas Crissman, were pronounced dead at the scene in southeastern Pike County, on Friday, Dec. 11.

Authorities said Winkler’s wife, and Brandon’s mother, Leigh Ann Winkler, was also in the truck and she was transported to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
