RIDGELAND, Miss. (AP) — “Chicken Soup for the Soul” is coming to the small screen.

Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of the motivational book, tells WAPT-TV he plans to shoot the series in Mississippi.

The book takes a look at dozens of inspiring stories from everyday people.

Hansen spent Monday morning motivating students at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.

Hansen says Mississippi is the perfect venue for the project. He says he promised Gov. Phil Bryant over breakfast that he would dedicate the first 15 minutes of every show to showing off miracles in Mississippi.

Anyone who wishes to share a Mississippi miracle with Hansen can send an email to reception@markvictorhansen.com.
