GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — Gulfport police say a motorcyclist died when he tried to pass several stopped vehicles and ran into an SUV that was turning into a driveway.
Harrison County coroner Gary Hargrove tells The Sun Herald that 46-year-old Curtis Wicker died Saturday at Garden Park Hospital.
Police tell WLOX-TV that several vehicles had stopped behind a Chevrolet Tahoe that had stopped to make a turn. They say Wicker tried to pass the vehicles and hit the front of the SUV.
The Tahoe’s driver was not hurt.
