FOXWOOD, Mississippi (AP) — Authorities say a man has died from injuries he received when he was run over multiple times after an argument in a grocery store parking lot.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Department said charges against Chaneeta Bryant have been upgraded to murder after the victim, James Johnson, died Monday at Forrest General Hospital.

The incident happened Friday at Four Way Grocery in Foxworth west of Columbia. According to witnesses and video surveillance, Bryant and Johnson got into an altercation and she struck him with her vehicle multiple times before leaving the scene.
