In protest of the Mississippi state flag, which contains the Confederate symbol, actress Aunjanue Ellis wore a custom made gown to the NAACP Image Awards Feb. 5 in Los Angeles. The actress who attended Tougaloo College and was raised in McComb has vowed not to act in Mississippi again until the flag is changed.
