HAZLEHURST, Miss. (AP) — Officials say Copiah Academy’s quarterback died in a one-vehicle crash on the way to school.

Copiah County Coroner Ellis Stuart tells multiple news outlets that 16-year-old Jarious “Jay” Holloway died when his car ran off Rutledge Road just before 8 a.m. Tuesday and hit a tree.
