Biloxi Police Chief John Miller says somebody walked around the vehicle Wednesday afternoon and noticed the body. The vehicle was in a secluded area in the parking lot of the truck stop, just north of Interstate 10.
Miller tells The Sun Herald the body may have been there for a day or two. Because the vehicle wasn’t parked in the front parking lot near the convenience store, he says customers and employees would not have easily seen the body.
Miller says police have an idea who the victim is, but the identification has not yet been confirmed.
