(AP) A southeast Alabama man accused of giving his 10-month-old niece formula that had been mixed with alcohol has been charged with child abuse.
Houston County court records say 19-year-old Dontavian Lee McCree of Dothan is accused of giving his niece spiked formula, which resulted in the girl being taken to the intensive care unit of a local hospital.
Court records say the man’s bond is set at $15,000. A phone call and email to his attorney were not immediately returned.
