Names released in Pontotoc County slayings

crime-bodyECRU, Miss. (AP) – Authorities have released the names of the two people found dead after an incident that led investigators to a home in the Shady Grove community outside Ecru on Sunday morning.

Pontotoc County Sheriff Leo Mask tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/1FMtN5h) investigators received a call around 10 a.m. Sunday, which led to the discovery of the bodies of 70-year-old Donald Baker, and his wife, 57-year-old Evelyn Baker.

Mask says the couple died from blunt force trauma.

He said they are not sure what was used to kill the Bakers.

Mask says deputies have interview several people, but no one has been arrested.
