Mississippi woman’s third DUI conviction will serve 4 years in prison

DUI(AP) A 48-year-old Diamondhead woman has been sentenced to four years in prison after a third DUI conviction.

District Attorney Joel Smith said Heather Lee Bullock was sentenced Monday by Judge Chris Schmidt. She must also complete a drug and alcohol treatment program while serving her sentence.

Smith says Bullock was arrested March 15, 2013, in Bay St. Louis after officers saw her vehicle swerving on U.S. 90. She had her then-10-year-old son with her.

Prosecutors said Bullock had two DUI convictions in the last five years.
