Jackson police charge parents with capital murder in beating death of 9-month-old son

16403740-smallJACKSON, Mississippi (AP) — The parents of a 9-month-old child have each been charged with capital murder in the baby’s death.

Authorities say autopsy results concluded Corey Kees died of blunt force trauma.

Authorities say 20-year-old Jerry Michael Alexander Kees and 19-year-old Sarah Stricklin are charged with capital murder in their son’s death.

Jackson police say the child’s body was found at a home on Sunday.
