Traxler tells WDAM-TV that 32-year-old Roberto O’Neil Stanton was driving southbound in the northbound lane, just north of the Forrest County Multi Purpose Center, when he crashed into a vehicle.

The other driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Forrest County Deputy Coroner Lisa Klem identified him as 21-year-old Michael Iler. Traxler says the passenger, Iler’s wife, was seriously injured and was transported in serious condition to an area hospital.
