The Kappa Alpha Psi College Prep webcast introduces Alcorn State University

Lorman, Miss. – “Alcorn State University invites perspective college students and their families to view the College Prep Cast featuring Alcorn on Wednesday, September 25, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time,” stated Dr. Carl G. Cunningham, vice President for Student Success and Enrollment Management at Alcorn.

The College Prep Cast is a monthly series created by the National Guide Right Committee of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated to provide high school aged youth and parents the opportunity to learn about many of the diverse post secondary institutions around the country. The College Prep Cast is a program of Kappa Alpha Psi’s DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH College Preparation, Scholarship and Achievement Initiative, dedicated to increasing college access and affordability to students of color from underserved communities.

The College Prep Cast will feature several students of Alcorn State University along with Dr. Cunningham. During the informational, they will discuss the University’s mission, academic reputation, campus life, and recruitment efforts. In addition, viewers will have the opportunity to participate in the Q & A with the students and administrators of Alcorn State.
