TUPELO – Tupelo police now say they have made a fourth arrest in this week's vandalism of the Tupelo Buffalo Park.
Police Captain Rusty Haynes says the fourth person is only 17-years-old and is charged with felony malicious mischief.
Two other 17-year-olds and 18-year-old Tate Johnson of Tupelo were arrested on the same charge.
Employees of the park came to work Tuesday and found broken fences and spray-painted obscenities.
A lion on the premises had even been spray-painted, officials said.
Authorities suspected the offenders were of high school age because “2013” had also been spray-painted on park walls.
