STARKVILLE – (AP) Mississippi State’s Arnett Moultrie intends to skip his senior season and enter the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-11 junior from Memphis, Tenn., just finished a breakout season for the Bulldogs. He averaged 16.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, earning AP first-team All-Southeastern Conference honors.

In a statement released by the university, Moultrie said he has not signed with an agent, but plans to do so.

Moultrie is the third player who has left Mississippi State’s program in less than a week, joining forward Renardo Sidney and guard DeVille Smith.

The Bulldogs are still looking for a new coach after Rick Stansbury announced his retirement after 14 seasons last week.
