PRENTISS – Officials from Foley Products Company, manufacturer of precast concrete products, said the company is opening a facility in Prentiss in Jefferson Davis County.
The project represents a company investment of more than $7 million and will create 40 new jobs.
Foley Products’ new Prentiss location will enable the company to better serve its customers and allow for future growth. The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) helped facilitate the project by providing assistance for infrastructure improvements, as well as assistance for on-the-job training.
Foley Products Company was established in 1981 as a division of The Concrete Company of Columbus, Georgia.
With facilities in Newnan, Georgia, Winder, Georgia, and Clanton, Alabama, Foley Products manufactures, sells, and delivers precast concrete manholes, catch basins, precast concrete communications and electrical boxes, reinforced concrete pipe, box culvert, and arch pipe.
They have recently added FoleyArch, a bottomless culvert designed for use in multiple applications, and CrystalStream Technologies, an innovator in the field of stormwater management, to their vast product line of precast concrete products.
