Da Minista to hold “J Star” Da Movement Promotional Tour

Pastor Tim K. Miller a.k.a. gospel hip hop artist Da Minista of McComb, Miss. has a unique ministry of saving souls for Christ through what he terms, “poetic preaching.” He is so passionate about his God-given mission that he wants to spread the good news of the Gospel through, his music ministry, to the entire world; but first, “charity (love) begins at home and spread abroad.”

FTAJ Entertainment, LLC presents Da Minista in his “J Star” Da Movement Promotional Tour concert which began Saturday, Jan 23 at 6 p.m. in the Copiah County Ministerial Alliance Christian Center, 17160 Highway 51 North, Hazlehurst, Miss. 39083. This concert is sponsored by The Copiah County Ministerial Alliance.

On Sunday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m., Da Minista’s “J Star” Da Movement Promotional Tour he was in Vicksburg, Miss. at Mt. Carmel Ministries with Pastor Dent and his church family. Mt. Carmel is located at 2015 Grove Street.

This weekend, Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at 6 p.m., the “J Star” Da Movement Promotional Tour will send up the praises in the capital city at The Potters House Fellowship Worship Center, 3285 County Line Road, Jackson, Miss. with Bishop Isaiah Williams as host pastor.

“J Star” is short for “Jesus Star.” Featured on the album are his hit singles, “Go Back,” “Jesus Walk,” and “Church Mess.” His single, “Go Back” has already received popular play in the national markets.  On 95.5 Hallelujah FM, it was voted No. 1 with Lance Fuller’s 4 at 4 for four consecutive weeks.

He is most grateful to all the radio stations and other outlets for helping him spread the “good news of the Gospel” through a genre that’s impacting young people and others.

Da Minista, Young Minista and the “Jesus Walk” dancers recently performed New Year’s Eve at a special “praise party” to a standing-room-only crowd at Holy Temple Missionary Baptist Church in West Jackson. Several individuals came or came back to Christ during his invitation to Christian discipleship. “I can truly understand his gospel rap; I can understand what he’s saying,” commented one of the mothers. In an earlier interview with The Mississippi Link newspaper and online news, Da Minista said he is grateful to God for blessing his music to “appeal to all ages.” He will talk about his unique gospel music ministry on the WLBT-TV3 Midday Mississippi show, Friday, Jan. 29 at 12:30 p.m. Be sure to watch!
