In honor of the grand opening weekend, consumers will receive free makeovers, hair consultations and Dermalogica face-mapping, and the first 100 guests to visit the store will receive a gift certificate with values ranging from $5 to $100.
As part of the ULTA Enrich, Empower & Enlighten Scholarship program, local high school senior girls also will have the opportunity to pick up an application to receive a $2,500 scholarship to the educational institution of their choice.
As a company dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young women, ULTA introduced in 2008 the Enrich, Empower & Enlighten Scholarship program to help outstanding high school senior girls in select communities across the country pursue their dreams.
Last year, sixteen young women were awarded scholarships based on their community involvement, leadership qualities and commitment to continuing their education.
In 2009, ULTA has expanded the program and has selected Flowood, Miss. as one of the eligible communities. One deserving high school senior girl from Flowood, Miss. will receive $2,500 to be put towards the educational institution of her choice.

The “ULTA-mate Night of Beauty” event will help the students find a beauty routine that’s right for them as they transition to college. Consumers are encouraged to visit ULTA in Flowood during grand opening weekend to cast a vote for their favorite local high school to win this special in-store event.
