Jackson native victorious as Miss Spelman College

Lacey Reddix a sophomore Mathematics/Mechanical Engineering dual degree major from Jackson, Miss. was selected as Miss Spelman College 2009-2010 in Atlanta on April 18, 2009. On a platform of “Financial Freedom: Monetary Independence in Economic Crisis,” she aims to improve financial literacy among high school and college students. Lacey E. Reddix, a 2007 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Madison, Miss. is the daughter of Drs. Carls and Natalie Reddix.
