Former NFL MVP and four-time Pro Bowler Steve McNair is hosting The Steve McNair Football Camp on the campus of The University of Southern Mississippi.

This camp is free of charge and will be open to boys between the ages of 9-17.

The date of the event has been set for Friday, July 11.

• Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the stadium that Friday morning and camp will end around 1:30 p.m.

All campers are required to have a signed parental release form before participating in any camp activities. Parents can register their kids the morning of camp.

The Steve McNair Football Camp retains the right to stop registration once we achieve our maximum camper limit.

All campers will receive a camp t-shirt (while supplies last), lunch, autographed picture of Steve, goodie bag from our sponsors, and instruction from Steve McNair and some of the best coaches in the area.

All campers will participate in performance enhancement drills (speed and agility work) coordinated by professional athlete trainers.

Campers will learn and practice the basic fundamentals of football including blocking, tackling, passing, catching, etc.

Guest speakers will be on hand discussing a wide range of subjects including the importance of education and making the right decisions in life, as well as drug and gang awareness issues.

Steve and Mitch Williams will host a question and answer session to conclude the camp.
