Pascagoula man’s disappearance called ‘suspicious’

Authorities in Pascagoula issued a “Be On The Lookout” (BOLO) for a local man Tuesday night calling his disappearance ‘suspicious.”

Lt. James Massey said 50-year-old Lee Alexander McGill left for work on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 7 a.m., and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Massey said he could not release the specifics of the case, but police believe foul play may be involved.

Massey said McGill is a self-employed carpenter and left his home, in the 2000 block of 13th Street, in his 2007 Silver Dodge Caravan. […]

Man steals car with toddler inside

A 25-year-old man is in police custody after he allegedly stole a woman’s car with her 3-year-old child inside.

Bradly Scott Hilsabeck is being held by request of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) following an incident that occurred about 6:46 p.m., Sunday.

Lt. James Massey, of the Pascagoula Police Department, said a woman was standing at her vehicle in the Walgreen’s Parking lot in the 3800 block of Market Street when Hilsabeck reportedly pushed her away and took off in her vehicle. […]

Man’s body found on school grounds

Lt. James Massey said a man found dead on the grounds of an elementary school Sunday morning died of natural causes.

Massey said 50-year-old Sidney Jackson was found on the athletic field of Colmer Middle School at 3112 Eden Street in Pascagoula around 8:17 a.m.

Initially described as a “black male”, Jackson was later identified and an autopsy was performed by a local pathologist. […]
