A man arrested Tuesday morning in Mississippi for a Louisiana killing has confessed, authorities say.

St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Jack Strain says deputies responded before dawn Tuesday when a relative called to say Billie Glenn Rawson, Jr. and his father had fought. The men shared a home in Pearl River, La. Strain says the fight was one-sided and Billie Rawson Sr. suffered trauma before his death.
