MOSS POINT, Mississippi (AP) — Several local businesses and non-profits were honored during the 8th annual ANCHOR Awards, presented Aug. 10 at Pelican Landing Conference Center in Moss Point.
The ANCHOR Awards were launched by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce to honor and celebrate outstanding small businesses and non-profits in Jackson County.
This year’s award recipients were:
- Small Business 1: Rainbow Spring Water, Inc.
- Small Business 2: Merchant & Marine Bank
- Rookie Business: Gourmet Gurl, LLC
- Non-Profit: Walter Anderson Museum of Art, Inc.
Lori A. Harper, Vice President for Supply Chain Management at Ingalls Shipbuilding, was the keynote speaker.
