The United States Marshals Office in Jackson is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and arrest of Malcolm Jamal Landfair – one of two capital murder suspects who escaped from the Hinds County Jail in Raymond Thursday morning.
The other suspect – Gerome Montreal Moore – was caught Thursday evening.
Malcolm Jamal Landfair, who is 5’9” and weighs 136 pounds, was last seen during a routine head count at 4 a.m. at the jail. He was discovered missing a short time later.
Moore has a history of escaping, and both men have ties to the Jackson area.
